We email the dealers for you
Each dealer gets its own message, written fresh. Each one waits about 30 minutes so you can pause or edit it. Replies land in one inbox.
Always comes to you first
We never answer these for you. Nothing goes out until you decide.
- Trade-in and financing questions
- A dealer asking you to come in
- A dealer agreeing to your price
- Anything unusual
Why ask more than one dealer?
In our first small test, two dealers quoted the same truck about $4,100 apart out the door. Some listings include fees and some add them later, so a written, itemized price from each dealer is the only fair way to compare.
There is also a free trade-in hub to help you figure out what your current car is worth before anyone asks.

Questions
Good questions, plain answers.
Who does BargainVIN work for?
Only you, the buyer. We take no commission or payment from dealers. You pay one flat fee, and only if you want us to contact dealers for you.
Do I need to use my main email?
No. You set up a fresh Gmail just for car shopping and connect it, or use a private address we give you. Dealers only see that address, the name you choose, and your city and ZIP so their tax figure is right. No street address. During the beta, we can read that car-shopping inbox, because a person reviews every message.
Will dealers know I'm using a service?
Messages go out in your name, from your car-shopping email, and our name never appears in them. Each dealer gets its own private message, never a group email.
Will I have to go to the dealership?
Not to get a price. We ask every dealer for a written, itemized price first, and we never agree to a visit for you. If a dealer asks you to come in, that comes to you to decide.
What about my trade-in and financing?
We never answer trade-in or financing questions for you. Those always come to you. The free trade-in hub helps you research what your car is worth, and we suggest settling the price of the new car first.
Do you guarantee a lower price?
No. Some dealers reply quickly, some are slow, and some never put a number in writing. What we can do is ask several dealers the same way, get what they send in writing, and help you compare. You decide whether and where to buy.
How does the beta work?
The beta is free and small. It runs partly by hand, so a person reviews every message, and nothing goes to a dealer without you seeing it first. Email us to get on the list.
